The offer is present on many types of cards and does not differ between a platinum and a less valuable card. This is why if you have the opportunity it is always better to have multiple cards so that you can multiply the benefits.
To get €100 cashback, you must make one or more stays at participating hotels, virtually all of those in Western Europe, including Italy, and spend at least 300€. The re-credit will be virtually immediate. As always, it is good to remember to activate the offer before making the reservation/transaction. This promo is interesting because it allows you to accumulate double points and spend less. Double points because booking directly on the Marriott app will accumulate base points plus any bonuses in addition to MR points, but spending 100€ less.

Similar to the Marriott one, but with a lower spending request is Hilton's proposal. In this case the transfer from the card account will be 50€ against an expenditure of 200€. To get this promo there is less time since the expenditure must be accounted for by December 22, while for Marriott there is time until the end of the year.

D. Can I pre-pay for a stay post offer end?
According to what you read in the T&Cs, the answer is no, but in the actual application when booking a prepaid (therefore NOT cancellable) room, the hotel usually charges the guest for the stay. Beware, however, that it doesn't necessarily do this immediately, it doesn't necessarily do it before the cut-off date. I also remind you that prepaid reservations in these chains are locked, not changeable or cancellable so do your math right.
D. Can I make two reservations with two different cards one in a row to the other?
The answer is yes., however, it is good to know that for the regulations of the loyalty program of both chains this practice of "back to back" does not apply to the accumulation of points and bonuses. It means that the stay will be considered one and then the points accumulated will be the ones provided for the first reservation "stretched" for the second part of the stay.
D. Can I make a reservation for a friend/relative?
The answer is absolutely yes, but You will not get points/advantages for booking a third party unless the reservation holder is present and the friend/relative staying will have no point credit or benefit from this reservation.
