Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport, opened on May 15, 1927, does not stand out in size, but in efficiency and passenger care it certainly does. Our experience was certainly positive from the moment we arrived: several open check-in counters and quick security checks given the low volume of travelers (eventually you can access the Fast Track service with MasterCard's Gold, Elite and Platinum cards or purchase it directly at the airport for 10 euros).

But what we want to focus on most is the airport's only lounge, the Club Lounge, an extremely well-maintained space of about 200 square meters, where you can enjoy a relaxation area equipped with sofas and armchairs, a dedicated food and beverage corner, and a reception desk with helpful and friendly staff. The cost of access is 33 euros; alternatively, you can use the Priority Pass card and enter for free.
The lounge is located a few meters after passing through security checkpoints, near Gate A1. The Club Lounge is extremely bright, with minimal and functional furnishings. Several spaces are available for relaxation, with armchairs and sofas where you can chat or simply rest. We dedicated ourselves, given the limited time available, to discovering the delicacies on offer, overlooking the runway and enjoying takeoffs and landings.
A wide variety of savory and sweet foods were available, which, after selection, the staff prepared and eventually heated before serving. Regarding the wines, we were explained not only the organoleptic characteristics but also the context of production, with brief insights into the history of the winery and places of origin.
Several drinks and foods were available; we opted for tasting typical Sardinian specialties, handcrafted, which we found really tasty and of excellent quality. The atmosphere was extremely quiet, the environment very clean and well cared for, the staff helpful and knowledgeable about both the culinary proposals and the wines and their possible pairings. Including the low crowding, we had the privilege of enjoying exceptional service, being served and pampered directly at the table.
Despite being frequent flyers, we had never come across such knowledgeable, enthusiastic and welcoming staff.
