After 9 years, Air France has decided to return to route to Verona, the direct connection to Paris Charles De Gaulle will return to Verona on April 2, 2024.
Details of the new connection
In this article:
The flight, operated in Embraer E190, will operate 3 times a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday), which will become twice a week (Tuesday and Saturday) during July and August. Departure from Paris is scheduled at 12:35 pm with arrival at 2:10 pm. The return from Verona will be, instead, at 3:10 p.m. with arrival in the Ville Lumière at 4:45 p.m.
Through this new flight, Italian customers will have access to key destinations for Air France such as Boston, New York, Los Angeles, Abu Dhabi, Johannesburg, Mauritius, Tokyo Haneda, Beijing, and many others. Passengers will be able to travel aboard a state-of-the-art fleet (45% of the Air France fleet will consist of new generation aircraft by 2025), with the distinctive style and refined gastronomy for which the airline is famous worldwide. Globally, Air France thus continues to diversify its network. The airline will add a total of 7 destinations to its 2024 summer schedule (April to October 2024), including 3 new cities, from its Paris-Charles de Gaulle hub.
Tickets on sale for €65
Tickets are already on sale starting at €65., a very affordable fare to fly to the capital of France. Perfect times for a long weekend and, as mentioned, to fly onward to many destinations in the Air France intercontinental network. Of course, if the price stays like this, there is no point in investing Flying Blue points to redeem an award ticket, but on the contrary thanks to this flight there will be an increased supply of free bookable seats with Air France KLM loyalty program points.
The statements
"We are extremely happy to welcome Verona back to our network, a further demonstration of the great importance of the Italian market for us. With this new connection we aim to strengthen our presence in a key area of the Peninsula, the northeast, offering access to a wide network of international destinations thanks to our hub in Paris CDG." comments Eléonore Tramus, General Manager East Mediterranean Air France-KLM.
"The return of Air France to Catullo Airport with the flight to Paris Charles De Gaulle is the result of an intense collaboration between SAVE Group and the airline. This is a strategic connection for the airport's wide catchment area, meeting the needs of business and leisure travel, both incoming and outgoing, guaranteeing connectivity on international and intercontinental continuations through one of Europe's leading hubs." says Camillo Bozzolo, Director of Aviation Development at SAVE Group.
