The price per night, excluding taxes, for the period we were interested in was €1,235 to which we added over €150 in taxes for a total over the 5 days of just under €7,000.
Fortunately there was still a standard room available and so I booked at a cost of 110k points per night, or 440k for the 5 nights. All inclusive and with the 5th night free, as per the benefit offered to all Hilton Honors award reservations. Considering that a pile of points was already in my pocket. I bought the maximum points, 160k, and got as many points for free and immediately booked the room with a savings of well over 5k euros. At the end of the day we will sleep in a 5-star hotel, one of the best in Europe at just over €300 per night.
