With the addition of these 4 routes Flydubai consolidates its presence in the old continent, offering its passengers the opportunity to reach 43 destinations in 21 countries.
Ghaith Al Ghaith, chief executive officer of flydubai, states, "We are proud to see our network grow more than ever with the launch of new routes. We have created a diverse network of 126 destinations, 60% of which previously had very limited or no connections to Dubai. Our new services to the Baltic and Basel region will allow more people to travel conveniently through the Dubai hub, whether they visit Dubai or connect conveniently on the flydubai network or, further afield, through our codeshare partner, Emirates."
Commenting on the launch of flights, Jeyhun Efendi, senior vice president, Commercial Operations and E-commerce at flydubai, states.: "Europe is an important market for flydubai, and we continue to strive to offer more passengers convenient and reliable service with excellent in-flight amenities. With the addition of Basel, Riga, Tallinn and Vilnius, we look forward to welcoming more and more travelers from Europe to Dubai and then to other points in our network, including Malaysia, Maldives, Mombasa, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Zanzibar."
Flydubai will operate on these routes with its newest aircraft - the Boeing 737 MAX 8 and 9 - configured in two classes, economy and business class.
