Ryanair has announced its record new operations for Pescara for the summer, with more than 120 weekly flights to destinations such as Barcelona, London and Prague or sunny destinations such as Alghero, Catania and Malta.
In this article:
Ryanair will base 1 B737 aircraft at Pescara airport, Ryanair's summer 2024 operation to Pescara will include 16 routes, including EU cities such as Brussels and Frankfurt and domestic destinations such as Milan, Bergamo and Turin
Since Ryanair began operations, more than 8 million passengers have been transported to/from Pescara, and this summer, Ryanair will offer even more choice with one more destination than last summer
Ryanair's Mauro Bolla said, "As the No. 1 airline for Italy and Pescara, Ryanair is pleased to announce its record-breaking summer operation of 16 routes, giving Pescara's citizens/visitors even more choices for their summer vacation at Europe's lowest fares. With a Pescara-based aircraft worth more than $100 million and the support of 500 jobs, including 30 well-paid aviation jobs for pilots, cabin crew and engineers, Ryanair continues to provide more traffic, more jobs and lower fares than any other airline in Pescara and Italy.
Vittorio Catone, Saga President said, "The summer 2024 operated by Ryanair will feature a special focus on Germany, which can be reached with as many as three destinations, Frankfurt Hann, Memmingen and Düsseldorf. This is certainly a positive for the regional territory, especially in terms of tourism, considering that German tourism has always shown great interest in discovering our beauty. The presence of one more destination than last year's 15 also gives us hope for the achievement of significant traffic numbers, in light of the ambitious goal that Abruzzo Airport has set for itself."
