The complete guide to Hilton Impresario to travel better, spend less, get free nights and benefits without status
If you're thinking of booking a stay at a Waldorf Astoria, Conrad or LXR hotel here's why you should use Hilton Impresario
In the past few days I have made my first booking through the Hilton Impresario service, one of the many programs offered via the Virtuoso channel. For those who are curious, while waiting for the review to be published, I say that in the end. I spent less than the price with FH+R.
In this article:
Since I started working with the exclusive team of ACIbluteam. I began to consider all the ways that, this avenue can enable all members to Hilton Honors, regardless of status or credit card held, to get many more benefits, points and free nights.
What is Hilton Impresario
Hilton Impresario is a sales channel from Hilton, designed for travel agents, which guarantees Additional benefits when staying exclusively in Waldorf Astoria hotels, LXR or Conrad.
Thanks to this product, which Has no additional costs to those normally displayed via the app or Hilton's website, guests will be treated better even if you have no status in the Hilton Honors loyalty program.
LXR is the least popular and least known of the three brands, but in the world there are more than 40 hotels Conrad and more than 30 Waldorf Astoria insignia synonymous with pampering and elegance.
The Conrad Downtown in New York City, the Conrad Dubai or the Conrad Rangali in the Maldives are just some of the facilities most sought after by travelers from Italy and beyond. Waldorf Astoria is perhaps the most luxurious sign and where being able to maximize Impresario benefits is even more rewarding.
What benefits a Hilton Impresario reservation gives you
Booking through Hilton Impresario, You will enjoy the accumulation of points, active promotions and get qualifying nights as in any "do-it-yourself" reservation, you will also be able to take advantage of the following benefits indifferetemente from the status you hold:
- Free daily breakfast for two
- Hotel credit of $ 100 (USD) per stay
- Complimentary upgrade to next room category, subject to availability upon check-in
- Early check-in and late check-out, subject to availability
- Accumulate twice as many points, compared to a standard reservation, additional to any other promotion in place
As you can see, the most interesting advantages are the hotel credit of $ 100 (USD) per stay and free breakfast for two people. Of course breakfast is included for those with Gold status, but the 100$ to spend at the facility is a good excuse to evaluate this channel.
In addition, all bookings through this channel get a Bonus that doubles the points on each stay.
There is, however, better, another advantage is the ability to sleep for free in some Hilton Impresario hotels thanks to free extra nights. Many of the properties that are booked through this channel offer thea third, fourth or fifth night free of charge On your reservation. In this case gratuity is triggered for cash reservations, is not the same as the fifth night free when booking with points.
In a nutshell this means. A potential saving of 20 to 33% on the reservation cost final. And if you're staying in the Maldives, Seychelles or Tokyo that can mean thousands of euros in savings.
Making a request for quotation is as simple as filling out this form.
It looks like Fine Hotels & Resorts, but it's not the same thing
While the program FH+R is reserved for holders of American Express Platinum, Hilton Impresario is open to all.
The differences are not many. Not all hotels are present in both channels, while at the benefit level FH+R guarantees late check-out at 4 p.m., while Impresario reservations are subject to availability, but on balance I prefer to take double points and free nights, and give up 2 to 3 hours of room use.
To request a quote, TFC readers can take advantage of the dedicated landing page on the exclusive site, because in this case the reservation must be made through the Impresario channel.
Free one night's sleep at Waldorf Astoria, Conrad or LXR
As mentioned this is not a benefit, but an extra promo in addition to double points for all Impresario reservations. The current promo is valid until March 31, 2025 and allows you, depending on the hotel, to get one free night for every X nights you stay.
For example, if you are thinking of stay this summer in Sardinia, at Conrad Chia Resort you can stay 6 nights and pay only 5. If your destination is New York at Conrad Downtown you will be able to stay 4 nights and pay only 3 nights.
If, on the other hand, you want to take advantage of the visa-free travel to China or Asia, there are plenty of hotels offering free nights. For example, the Waldorf Astoria the Bund in Shanghai offers the option of paying for 3 nights and staying 4. Or the Waldorf Astoria Bangkok Which propne instead the 3×2, i.e. stay 3 nights and pay only 2.
My favorite Conrad, the one on Koh Samui, Where I left a piece of my heart Offers 1 free night for every 4 paid.
How to maximize the benefits
First make a comparison between the best rate and the Impresario rate. As mentioned the program has no additional cost, but the price charged is the lowest of the flexible rates (reservations can be canceled up to the day before arrival). This means that if you take a prepaid (and nonrefundable) rate you might spend less.
Second consider the value of the double points and the, eventual, free night when you draw the line on costs and benefits, not forgetting that there is also free breakfast (if you are not Gold) and the 100$ to spend at the facility.
Third is the exclusive team, Having access to both the Virtuoso and Impresario portfolios., may possibly also have different promotions for the same facility.
My strategy
Being a voracious accumulator of Hilton Honors points, I will not make never again a reservation in these signs without taking advantage of Hilton Impresario. Double points, free nights, extra treatment that, for me being Diamond, adds and does not take away anything, on the contrary.
