The tussle for the title of best airport in the world is a duel. Singapore Airlines held the title, unchallenged for years, then with the outbreak of the pandemic and the closing of borders had taken the crown away from Changi for the first time. After a two-year reign Doha had once again had to bow down. And the stock was back in Asia.

Today, however, Doha is back in the lead and according to Skytrax is the best airport in the world in 2024. Credit certainly goes to the new area called Orchard, just like Singapore's most famous street and with an architectural style that is very reminiscent of the Jewel, the pearl of the Asian airport.
