In recent days we have written about Asiana to activate the world's shortest route operated with an A380. Surprisingly, however, the same airline decided to operate flights between Seoul and Barcelona with just its giant instead of the flagship A350.

The timeline is really tight since l'A380 Will only be used for one week between September 14 and 21, for only two times. Korean company, Which will soon become one with Korean Air, flies three times a day between Seoul and the capital of Catalonia: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
The first landing will be on September 14, with the arrival of flight OZ511 and the subsequent departure of flight OZ512 in the evening of the same day. The following Saturday will be the Korean giant's second, and probably last time at El Prat.

Unable to find a prize ticket through different Star Alliance airlines, and so I bought the ticket to fly on the upper floor of one of the A380s set to be retired very soon. It will also be my first and (likely) last time with this company before the merger with Korean becomes operational, Instead, the return will be on board the A350/900, OZ's flagship that flies daily from Rome to South Korea.
Obviously this flight Will not be "up for grabs" for those who hunt the bum, but I will be happy to chat with other passengers if we are on board for about 12 hours of the giant made in Airbus.
