The best stopover service? He offers it TAP, Portugal's national airline. The award was given by the magazine Global Traveler, on the occasion of the 12th Leisure Lifestyle Awards.

Each year Global Traveler rewards the best in lifestyle travel, identifying excellence among services, destinations, hotels, airlines, airports, cruises, and so on. The awards were given after a survey administered between July 2023 and March 2024 to more than 800,000 readers; readers who, as mentioned, awarded TAP's stopover.
The Portugal Stopover, basically, allows passengers to make two trips for the price of one: on the outbound or return flight, customers have the option of a free stopover (from 1 to 10 days) in Lisbon or Porto; if, then, travelers want to make a second stopover in Portugal, they will be entitled to a 25% discount on any domestic flight. Not only that, passengers who take advantage of the stopover have access to discounts at TAP's 149 partners in Portugal, including hotels, restaurants, tours, museums, and more.
The other airlines that triumphed in the Leisure Lifestyle Awards were: Air Canada, awarded (for the sixth consecutive time) for the best in-flight entertainment and for the best premium economy class; Korean Air triumphed in the category best first class menu; United Airlines, on the other hand, won for the third time the title of best green company; last but not least, Air Tahiti Nui Was elected for the second time best leisure company.
