L'Nice Cote d'Azur Airport Is the second busiest in France. Many carriers fly here and there are direct flights to the United States, Canada, the Middle East and all of Europe.
In this article:
There are two terminals: the T2 used mainly by Air France KLM, easyjet and Emirates. While all the other companies use T1.
The great thing about this airport is. is connected by streetcar to the Nice center and you can reach the Promenade and Place Massena in less than 10 minutes.
Location
In T1, as in T2, there are two lounges: The Library for Schengen Destinations and Canopy for non-Schengen flights.
The Library lounge is located in the main terminal area above the stores, past the iconic slide of the nearby restaurant.
Access
The lounges at this airport are all operated by the airport company and, names aside, very similar to each other. All are accessible to holders of Priority Passes and similar cards in addition to premium passengers of airlines using this stopover.
The lounge
Given how busy this airport is, the lounges are half a disappointment, without any distinction. Management and catering are absolutely comparable, and it does not matter if you are a passenger of La Premiere, Emirates First, or easyJet the product is the same for everyone.
The lounge is divided into two areas. The first area, the one where the buffet is, of are sofas and a high comdo table for working with built-in power outlets.
In the second room is the relaxation area, with very high-backed sofas that isolate a little bit from the room.
There is also the Library area, which is the one that distinguishes this room and from which it takes its name.
Food & Beverage
Here we come to the sore point, the level of catering in these halls, all of them bar none, is embarrassing. No matter whether you arrive at 5 a.m. or 6 p.m., the proposal will always be really poor.
The lounge offers virtually nothing. There are two coolers one with yogurt and cheese and the other with sodas. All in 1.5L plastinca bottles, zero cans.
There is no water fountain to fill your water bottle, there is no buffet at all since there is a basket with pain au chocolat and mini-brioches and nothing else. There are two hot drink machines is stop
Services
For the size of the lounge, there are only two bathrooms, very few at 6 a.m., let alone at busy times.
There is nothing else but two workstations for working on the PC in the library area.
In conclusion
If we were in a provincial airport where only low-cost airlines fly, the assessment would surely be different, but here we are in the busiest airport after Paris is really a difficult thing to understand.
