Singapore Changi International Airport is ready to welcome the third hotel internally: by 2028 will arise the Indigo Changi Airport, the first accommodation "zero Energy" of the Lion City airport.

The new hotel will be a Indigo, trademark of the IHG Group, will have more than 250 rooms and will be built near the Terminal 2 of Changi: It will be Singapore's second Indigo Hotel, following the one in Katong (15 minutes from SIN Airport) that opened in 2016.
The new facility will extend over 7 floors and will offer a great view of the airport and runways: guests, among other things, will have at their disposal a rooftop - located on the top floor and equipped with a cocktail bar - and a infinity pool (an idea, this one, reminiscent of the TWA Hotel at T5 at JFK).
As mentioned, this will be the first "zero energy" hotel: the ultimate in sustainability will be achieved through the installation of solar panels as well as the use of advanced rainwater harvesting technologies. A characteristic element, then, will be the "floating forest" rainforest-a riot of flora and fauna that will span all 7 floors.
Singapore airport currently has two hotels: the Crowne Plaza Changi (opened in 2008 and located at Terminal 3), and the YOTELAIR (opened in 2019 near T1).
