The aircraft in question-which have been flying across the Old Continent for several weeks already-act, in a way, as "flying ambassadors": Lufthansa's goal, as a European company, is to encourage as many people as possible to vote in the upcoming European election round, which will be held between June 6 and June 9 (in Italy, specifically, citizens will be called to vote on Saturday, June 8 and Sunday, June 9).
"Soon millions of citizens will have the opportunity to choose the future of the European Union. Now more than ever, it is up to all of us to use our vote in the upcoming European elections to defend democracy and a united and free continent. This is the prerequisite for a strong position and a strong economy," these are the words of Carsten Spohr, Lufthansa Group CEO.
