The new facility is located on the Al Mouj waterfront and has direct access to the sea, with a private beach of white sand. The resort features curvilinear architecture inspired by its surroundings, with an interesting 'wave' design; the predominant colors - ocean blue and brown - evoke Oman's natural landscape. Also on the subject of design, then, the brand-new St. Regis Al Mouj can boast a spacious collection of artwork of renowned artists from Oman, including Anwar Sonya, Alia Al Farsi, Sami Al Syabi, Hassan Meer, and Budoor Al Riyami.
The hotel has 250 rooms and suites that offer breathtaking views of the ocean, the city or the resort's expansive golf course. Private balconies, spacious bathrooms, walk-in closets: there's no shortage of comfort; even less so with the St. Regis Butler Service, Marriott's commitment to guest preferences at all times.
The resort also boasts 9 international restaurants, awarded Michelin stars. Hakkasan, a renowned contemporary Cantonese restaurant, offers world-class mixology and dramatic design. Em Sherif is a haute cuisine restaurant that pays homage to Lebanese culinary art. Roberto's, inspired by Italian cuisine, offers contemporary seafood dishes instead. COYA embodies Latin American culture with authentic Peruvian cuisine and innovative Pisco-based drinks.
Novikov Café combines Mediterranean dishes with French, Italian and Asian flavors, using local ingredients. Karibu combines the cuisine of Zanzibar with that of Oman, while Zorba boasts a menu of Greek specialties. The Lounge is a quiet corner in which to enjoy a locally inspired take on the acclaimed St. Regis Afternoon Tea, while Sukkar Is a dessert paradise.
At the St. Regis at the Mouj you eat well and, if possible, drink even better. The Stage, which draws inspiration from the King Cole Bar at the St. Regis New York, offers a select menu of cocktails classics prepared with great skill: interesting, then, that this area is characterized by extensive mural by Omani artist Hassan Meer, depicting the cultural center, port city, and historic site of Muttrah, Muscat's old city.
There is no shortage of fitness offerings. The St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat is home to the Guerlain Spa: With 11 treatment rooms--including two suites dedicated to couples--a steam room and several saunas, resort guests will have no trouble relaxing. The more sporty, on the other hand, can take advantage of the well-equipped gymnasium, swimming pool, padel court, and Al Mouj Golf course, designed by Greg Norman; finally, personal training and yoga sessions are available.
The St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat Resort has already opened its doors and is book it on the official Marriott website.
