Twenty springs have passed since the 2004, a year in which TAP Air Portugal - the national airline of Portugal - was kicking off connections between Lisbon, its main hub, and the city of Venice.

Today, TAP continues to focus so much on the lagoon city that it offers 2 flights a day to and from Venice for a total of 14 flights per week. The offer for summer 2024 is the same as the previous season, however, there is one difference: the aircraft used are no longer Embraer E190/E195s but Airbus A320s, definitely more spacious and comfortable.
The flights from Venice, as mentioned, are two per day: the departure of the first is scheduled at 11:40 a.m., while the arrival is scheduled at 1:55 p.m. (local time); the second flight, on the other hand, takes off from the lagoon at 7:10 p.m. and arrives in Portugal's capital at 9:25 p.m. On the opposite route, the first flight from Lisbon takes off at 6:50 a.m. and lands in Venice at 10:40 a.m.; the second one, on the other hand, takes off at 2:20 p.m. and arrives at 6:20 p.m.
The many Italian (and other) passengers, therefore, will have a way to reach not only the capital of Portugal but also many other destinations offered by TAP's network; in addition to this, travelers on intercontinental routes will be able to take advantage of the TAP's Portugal Stopover, recently voted Global Traveler as the best stopover service.
To date, TAP flies to four Italian airports: Bologna, Florence, Milan, Naples, Rome e Venice.
