New cabins on Emirates' 777s will debut Aug. 11: finally goodbye to the old business class and comes an in-flight bar

Emirates unveiled today the first destinations where Boeing 777s outfitted with the new cabins will land. The first passengers to board the new seats will be those departing from Geneva August 11 (flight EK83/84), Tokyo Haneda September 1 (flight EK312/313) and Brussels September 11 (flight EK183/184).

The new business class on Emirates' 777s

All Business Class seats on the newly refurbished Boeing 777 focus on personalized privacy and high comfort, transforming into a comfortable flat bed, with 20.7-inch wide seats tilted up to 44 inches apart. The staggered seating arrangement provides aisle access for each seat, with direct entry and exit for customers.

The seat is accented by a touch screen controller for in-flight entertainment and seat operation, a 23-inch personal HD screen, one of the largest in the skies, connected to the airline's award-winning ice entertainment system, as well as a personal minibar, a large table and ample stowage for personal devices, charging outlets, and more.

The Boeing 777 Business Class cabin will also include a small bar where customers can quickly grab snacks and drinks mid-flight.

More and more destinations served with premium economy

The airline aims to Serving more than 36 cities with premium economy by February 2025 with The A350, which will enter its fleet in September this year, as well as more renovated A380s and Boeing 777s that will enter service and fly to more cities in the coming months.
