One word: finally. It has been almost 6 months since Hilton announced that it would enter into a partnership with SLH, Small Luxury Hotels of The World, a network of 560 luxury hotels scattered around the world. Then last month, the integration officially started, although it affected only three properties: Now, however, we get into the swing of things.
In this article:
Nearly 400 SLH facilities enter Hilton Honors portfolio: finally
Nearly 400 SLH properties now join the network of Hilton Honors: members, therefore, will be able to Earn and redeem points at many more facilities. Thanks to this addition, Hilton facilities in Italy double.Â
There are 36 SLH hotels in our country, bringing the number of Hilton properties in Italy to 72, even landing in regions such as Liguria, Sicily and Calabria where no hotel of the American chain was present.
Â
As we have written several times, SLH is a network of independent hotels: the choice to 'relate' to Hilton Honors is dictated by the desire to have a lot of more visibility And, consequently, more commercial strength.
What are the benefits for HH members during stays at SLH facilities
Hilton Honors members can enjoy the following benefits while staying at an SLH facility:
- New members: guaranteed HH member discount, free Wi-Fi, free late check-out (subject to availability), bottled water, and no resort fee in award stays;
- Members HH Silver: 20% bonus on accumulated points and free fifth award night (plus, of course, the benefits of newly enrolled members);
- HH Gold Members: bonus of 80% on accumulated points, free breakfast (but only for two guests), upgrade (if available),Â
- Members HH Diamond: 100% bonus on points, free breakfast (for two guests) upgrade (subject to availability)Â
In conclusion
Last month, when we learned of the inclusion of only three facilities, we were a little disappointed: however, all that was needed was patience. Only what week later, in fact, Hilton turbocharged and added almost 400 luxuries to its HH portfolio: one can only be pleased.
