After anticipating this a few months ago, last July 23 Air France has finally opened the new space entirely dedicated to passengers of La Première at theCharles de Gaulle airport in Paris.
In this article:
A reserved area to check in
Once at the airport, La Première passengers will be met by an AF attendant who will take care of their luggage and escort them to area reserved for them: here they will have the opportunity not only to take care of all the check-in procedures but also to relax before departure. The well-appointed lobby features 15 seats e two private living rooms; La Premiere passengers who have just landed will also be able to take advantage of it.
The lounge reserved for La Premiere passengers
Once airport formalities are completed, passengers will be taken to the La Première lounge, in which they can conveniently carry out the security checks.
Designed by architect Didier Lefort, the hall extends over 1000 square meters: passengers can relax in the spa operated by Sisley or refresh themselves with the gastronomic offerings curated by Alain Ducasse.
The new private suites
If, then, you just won't settle and are looking for not only comfort but also maximum privacy, then all you have to do is shell out 800 euro e book one of 3 exclusive suites that Air France offers its first-class passengers: 45 square meters of space, living area, bedroom, private bathroom, outdoor patio and a butler; what more could you want?
The décor of each of these suites will feature some iconic examples of French design, including Charlotte Perriand's desk, Pierre Paulin's Ribbon armchair, and Philippe Stark's Privé sofa; in addition to this, each room will be adorned with a unique work of art by a French artist.
La Premiere's new cabin is coming soon.
The anticipation at this point is great: fortunately, however, it is not that long away. The introduction of Air France's new first-class cabin is scheduled for next winter.
The new La Première, according to AF, will have the configuration that offers the most space (in length) on the market: will, in fact, be as many as 5 (!) windows available to each passenger, and a new seat with a modular design that will allow for a choice of seating will also be implemented. Even more interestingly, the new La Première suite will be installed on a greater number of aircraft: In fact, to date there are only 19 Boeing 777-300ERs equipped with the F-cabin, with a total of about 100 suites flying only on certain routes.
