Washington Dulles (IAD) is the Capitol Hill International Airport; ITA Airways and a host of other carriers fly here. This hotel is perfect for those ending (or beginning) an East Coast road trip and prepares to return home from the stopover located about 30 minutes from Downtown.

In this article:
When we travel as a family, these hotels are (almost) always our last stop before returning home. The reason is simple the hotels near airports cost much less than those in the city, generally have free parking, and have the shuttle to pick you up or take you to the airport.
Reservation
I booked via app, remembering to activate the booking as "business travel" that way I accumulate more points and Until the end of 2024 double qualifying nights.
The price for one night was 156$ including breakfast since Hampton Inn is one of the insignias that always offers breakfast included to all guests, regardless of status.
Location
Beware there are as many as 4 hotels in the area around the Dulles Of the same sign. So if you search on waze or any other map app, double check the final address. Here we are a scant 10 minutes from the airport.
We are in an industrial area, but there are several restaurants nearby so you will not starve if you arrive late and are looking for a place to dine.
Check-in
Wanting to in the U.S. with Hilton you can do everything from the app and not even go through the front desk, no need to give documents or pick up the key which is digitally enabled on the guest's cell phone.
We passed simply because having the status we were entitled to two small bottles of water and a snack or soft drink.
The room
One should not have expectations, then if the hotel is not a new construction, there will be no positive surprises either. Here you come to sleep and leave, forgetting two days later where you stayed, but accumulating points and benefits from a cheap, guaranteed Hilton stay.
The beauty of the U.S. is that the two queen bed rooms are never small, and they are perfect for family travelers (up to 4 people) without necessarily having to book two rooms or take adjoining rooms. In room two beds, mattresses lived in and not at all cloud effect.
The classic amenities of these hotels, e.g., microwave oven, and mini-bar. Mega TV and a desk to work at with coffee maker and a view of the parking lot.
The bathroom is broken up. Exposed washbasin and separate shower toilet area, as is fashionable now in many design hotels. For the series, nothing new is ever invented, at most old ideas are recycled.
The structure
As mentioned these are dorms with the right options. There is a gym open H24.
The swimming pool, about the size of a large hot tub, open from 9 am to 10 pm at night.
There is a small shop where you can buy food (that's the point of the microwave in the room) or drink.
There is a small area where you can work and print documents and a sitting area where you can wait for others to come down before checking out.
Last but not least there is the laundry room for a fee, unfortunately not open h24. One washer and one dryer. Perfect for doing laundry and reducing re-entry stress by coming home with everything washed and smelling good in your suitcase.
Breakfast
The Hamptons, as mentioned, is one of the insignias where you never pay and the minimum wage is offered.
There is a hot proposal and more.
Here was also the machine for making waffles on the spot with various toppings of your choice
In conclusion
You know what you book and get for what you pay. Definitely recommended.
