More news at home Wizz Air: After Milan, now it is Rome's turn. The Hungarian low-cost airline has announced the opening of 4 new international routes sinceFiumicino Airport: Lisbon, Poznan, Bacau e Sarajevo.

The new connections from Rome to Lisbon will leave Monday, October 28: operations will include one flight per day. Flights to Poznan will also take off on the same day : in this case, 3 frequencies per week are planned (on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays). Tuesday, October 29, however, will be the turn of flights to Bacau, Romania: there will be 4 per week, every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday). The connection from Rome to Sarajevo will leave on the same day and will have 3 flights per week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
With the addition of Lisbon, Poznan, Bacau and Sarajevo become, therefore, 70 destinations offered by Wizz Air from Rome-Fiumicino airport.
The news, however, does not end there. Wizz Air also announced that it will sponsor the first "Wizz Air Rome Half Marathon": for the first time in history, the capital will host a half-marathon through the city's historic streets and famous UNESCO World Heritage Sites; the date to mark is the October 20 next, when the streets around Rome's most famous monuments will be reserved for runners.
