The September 9 the first flights of the new routes will start: 4 weekly frequencies (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) for the route Milan-Warsaw, and 3 frequencies for the Malpensa-Larnaca connection (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). The September 10, then, it will be the turn of flights to Malaga (4 per week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays Saturdays and Sundays) and to Rzeszów (two frequencies, Tuesday and Saturday).
The Oct. 1 the Malpensa-Danzig flight, for which 4 weekly frequencies (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday) are planned, will officially take off. The October 29, finally, the connection to Valencia will start; there will be 4 flights each week: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. All flights will be operated with Airbuses from the A320 family in Wizz Air's fleet: the Hungarian low-cost airline has more than 200 aircraft, including A320s and A321s both in ceo and neo versions.
The news, however, is not over: as of September '24, in fact, Wizz Air will increase frequencies on 5 routes. Specifically, there will be an increase from 2 to 3 weekly flights for the Milan-Sharm El-Sheikh route; from 8 there will be 9 flights to Barcelona; 9 (two more) connections to and from Madrid; then, there will be an increase from 3 to 4 weekly flights to Suaceva; finally, the weekly frequencies of the Malpensa-Chisinau flight will also increase, from 3 to 4.
With the addition of these 6 new destinations, they become a total of over 50 routes offered by Wizz Air from the Milan airport.
