Timelines were met, and this is already very good news: tomorrow, August 6, should be new blue line operational again of the Milan subway. As we have written in these pages in recent weeks, the M4 line was closed last July 19 due to the latest technical tests Before full opening.
In this article:
When will it be completed? Still, unfortunately, there is no certain date: however, the mayor of Milan, Beppe Sala, in a recent social live spoke about the end of September or, at the latest, early October as the time frame in which the full opening of the blue line (which will go as far as the San Cristoforo station) is likely.

It was November 26, 2022 when the first six stops of the M4 were opened.; when completed, however, the line will be approximately as long as 15 km, will count 21 stops e 47 trains (driverless, i.e., driverless) in fleet, which will provide a frequency of 75 seconds (90 at peak times).
The gaze, meanwhile, is already looking toward the future: work is underway to extend the Blue Line from theLinate Airport all the way to the seaport; the final design is likely to be submitted in the coming months, but for the inauguration will have to wait at least until 2030.
