Making safety videos interesting for younger passengers is no small feat; but, perhaps, ANA found a way. Last August 15, All Nippon Airways launched its New safety video in collaboration with Pokémon: the goal, ca va sans dire, is to create an experience that all travelers-both young and old-reput the as engaging as possible.

The clip-which lasts just under 5 minutes-features two flight attendants, who explain security procedures to passengers: among them are many characters from the Pokémon world (including Pikachu). Interestingly, then, the narration is not only in Japanese and English but also in sign language, so as to make the new safety video even more accessible and inclusive (subtitles, on the other hand, are available in 18 languages).
ANA, also, also launched a new landing video: the protagonist, in this case, is none other than. Pikachu who, once he gets off the plane, gets lost in the air terminal: thanks to ANA's ground crew, however, he manages to find his coach (his traveling companion, ed.) and can, thus, continue his journey.
The new All Nippon Airways videos are available, as of last August 15, initially in only two aircraft: in the "Pikachu Jet NH" (a Boeing 787-9) and in the "Eevee Jet NH" (a Boeing 777-300ER), both of which feature a special Pokémon-themed livery; gradually, then, the new videos will also be reproduced in the rest of the aircraft in the fleet.
