Today, August 2, Instead, connections to and from Turin (3 per week, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday), while Sunday, August 4 will be the turn of flights to and from the airport of London-Stansted (2 each week, on Wednesdays and Sundays); Salerno and Milan (BGY), finally, will be connected with 3 flights per week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
"The start of Ryanair's operations from Salerno-Costa d'Amalfi airport marks another significant step in the growth of the airport and the Campania airport system managed by GESAC, going on to consolidate both the domestic segment, with Bergamo and Turin all year round, and the international segment, with the strengthening of connections to London. The presence of a prestigious partner such as Ryanair not only enriches our flight offer, but also confirms the centrality of the Campania and Southern Italy market in the network of an important player such as the Irish airline. This investment represents a great opportunity to strengthen the tourist industry and give a further boost to the region's economy," commented Roberto Barbieri, managing director of GESAC.
The three new routes to and from Salerno-the 32nd Italian airport in Ryanair's network-will offer, in total, 16 flights per week: interesting, then, that while the flight to and from the British capital is seasonal, domestic routes to Bergamo and Turin will continue during the coming winter season.
