ITA Airways further expands its presence in Saudi Arabia inaugurating the New direct flight from Rome Fiumicino to Jeddah, the second destination in the Arab state after Riyadh. Unlike Kuwait, cancelled destination from the Italian company's plans, the newly launched connection will be operated three times a week.

Departure from Rome Fiumicino every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 3:05 p.m. and arrival in Jeddah at 9:10 p.m. (local time) and departure from theJeddah King Abdulaziz International Airport on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 3:30 a.m. (local time) and arrive in Rome Fiumicino at 7:00 a.m. the next morning.

With the introduction of the new direct flight to Jeddah, ITA Airways will operate 57 destinations in the current summer season, including 16 domestic, 26 international and 15 intercontinental. This summer marks a season of significant expansion for ITA Airways in both medium and long-haul routes. To date, new destinations opened include Chicago and Toronto in North America, Riyadh and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, and Accra and Dakar in Sub-Saharan Africa. New routes already announced on the Asian continent will follow in the coming winter season: Dubai on Oct. 27 e Bangkok on Nov. 16.
