After a handful of days since the announcement of the allocation of territorial continuity connections, in the last few hours Aeroitalia has put tickets for the routes on sale. Cagliari-Rome (FCO), Cagliari-Milan (LIN), Olbia-Rome (FCO) and Olbia-Milan (LIN).

The new flights under territorial continuity to and from Sardinia
They will be 8 daily flights in the CAG-FCO route: Aeroitalia will fly at 06:00, 06:50, 08:50, 10:55, 15:00, 19:00, 20:30 and 21:30; and As many will be the connections in the reverse route, from Fiumicino to Cagliari (6:50, 7:50, 8:50, 13:00, 17:00, 19:30, 21:10, 22:30).
It will be 6, however, the number of daily flights from Cagliari to Milan (LIN): they will be concentrated especially at the beginning of the day, with four flights only in the morning (at 6:00 am, 8:30 am, 9:30 am, 11:00 am) and two in the evening (7:20 pm, 9:30 pm). From the Milan city airport they will fly to the Sardinian capital at 6:30 am, 8:10 am, 1:20 pm, 6:30 pm. 19:20, 21:30.
As we have written in recent days, Aeroitalia was also awarded the continuity connections regarding the Olbia-Linate and Olbia-Fiumicino routes (The latter will be operated jointly with the Spanish low-cost Volotea). There will be 4 flights per day operated by Aeroitalia from Olbia to Milan Linate (at 07:00, 11:10, 15:30, 19:30); as many flights operated on the reverse route (will take off from LIN at 09:00, 13:20, 17:30, 21:30). Finally, 3 flights from Olbia to Rome-FCO (at 07:05, 11:00, 19:40); as many from Fiumicino to Olbia (at 09:00, 16:25, 21:40).
What are the rates and what do they include
As is well known, prices for flights in territorial continuity are fixed: so, for example, for a round trip from Cagliari to FCO the cost will be €150.38, whether you fly on a weekend in November or under Christmas. In this fare (valid, of course, for all routes in CT) are. including a small cabin bag (40x30x20 cm), large cabin bag (55x40x20 cm) a 23 kg checked baggage allowance, priority boarding e free airport check-in. In addition to this, the tickets issued--both for residents and nonresidents equated--are unrestricted and no restrictions will be applicable to them, nor will any penalty for change of date/time/itinerary and request for refund.
Who is entitled to territorial continuity
As stated on Aeroitalia's website, fares for flights operated under the Territorial Continuity regime apply to the passengers residing in Sardinia, to the disabled (without any discrimination related to nationality and/or residence; civil disability must be equal to or greater than 80% attested by report issued by the medical board), To university students up to the completion of their 27th year (without any discrimination related to nationality and/or residence; students must show a valid university transcript), To young people who are between 2 and 21 years of age or younger (without any discrimination related to nationality and/or residence; children under two years old travel free of charge if they do not occupy the seat), To the elderly over the age of 70 (without any discrimination related to nationality and/or residence).
Between the last Sunday in October and the last Saturday in March, those who do not meet the above requirements but travels for business purposes, is entitled to the territorial continuity fares: it will be essential, in this case, that the passenger traveling on business to Sardinia be provided with the paper documentation with which the employer certifies the employee's travel; in the case of freelancers, on the other hand, a self-certification and the showing of the professional association card will be required.
