At 07:24 a.m. yesterday - about half an hour in advance - the flight MU785 of China Eastern departed from Shanghai (PVG) and landed at theVenice "Marco Polo" airport. There are currently five Chinese airlines that connect Italy and China with a direct flight: Air China, China Southern, China Eastern, Sichuan Airlines and Hainan Airlines; three, however, are the Italian airports where these five carriers fly: Milan-Malpensa, Rome-Fiumicino and, as of yesterday, also Venice.
