From May 22 onward, Delta will offer One flight a day between Catania and New York. The connection will be operated by the Boeing 767-300: sure, are not the newest aircraft (those in Delta's fleet, specifically, have an average age of 26 years), however, it should be specified that they are set up in 4 classes of service (Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+ and main cabin).

The news, however, did not end there. During the summer 2025 Delta will launch the nonstop connection between Naples e Atlanta: The new route - active since May 23, 2025 - will have 4 weekly frequencies (operated with Airbus A330-200s) and is in addition to the Naples-JFK already operating.
Then, on the same date, direct connections will begin between Rome e Minneapolis: there will be 4 flights each week, also operated with A330s (in the -300 version) outfitted in 4 classes. Finally, As of May 24, 2025, the route will also be active. Milan (MXP)-Boston: Delta will connect the two cities with 4 weekly frequencies; the aircraft used will be B767-300s.
