Thirty-four years after its founding in 1990, Eurowings has received a 4-Star rating from the British agency Skytrax, which puts it 'on par', as they would say in golf, with most of the carriers that are part of the Lufthansa Group.
In this article:

In fact, the parent company, Swiss, Austrian and Air Dolomiti all already have the four Skytrax Stars (for a brief period Lufthansa had had 5.), e the only one missing is Brussels Airlines, which still has just three Skytrax Stars.
ITA Airways also., which will become part of the group once LH completes the process of acquiring the 40% of its shares, obtained last June the 4 Stars and is therefore more ready than ever to join the group.
As for Brussels, recently announced an upcoming redesign of its booths (which on the long haul had been entirely redesigned in 2018, and perhaps this could earn it a fourth star.
Eurowings (from which it recently 'detached' its long-haul branch that has been renamed Discover Airlines) has a fleet of 96 airplanes, which includes 5 Airbus A321neo, 6 A321-200, 7 A320neo, 44 A320-200, 28 A319 and 6 Boeing 737-800.
All aircraft are in single class and high density configuration but still have a Business Class 'section' at the front of the cabin, whose passengers benefit from dedicated check-in desks, priority boarding, priority baggage claim and lounge access.
Inflight entertainment is offered streaming via an app and onboard wi-fi is among the items that got 4 Stars from Skytrax (like almost everything, both on the ground and on board except for Business Class food & beverage which stopped at four stars).
The company's main hub is located in Dusseldorf, the carrier is obviously part of Star Alliance and Miles & More is its loyalty program. It has a Malta-based subsidiary, christened Eurowings Europe, which boasts a fleet of 24 airplanes including 1 A320 neo and 19 A320-200s as well as 4 A319s. In Italy it serves about 15 destinations, of which five are seasonal and the remaining year-round.
