When I think of the special liveries, two in particular come to mind: the spectacular one of the Concorde, which on the occasion of a partnership with Pepsi was completely painted blue; and that of Alitalia dating back to the 1990s when, in order to publicize the brand. Bulgari, it was decided to paint a huge clock above the equally huge fuselage of one of the 747s in AZ's fleet at the time.

Over the years we have also seen other equally distinctive liveries: the 'Flying turtles' on ANA's A380s, for example, or the Brussels Airlines' A320 with special livery dedicated to Tomorrowland music festival, just to name two. Recently, then, we wrote about Japan Airlines' Boing 767 with a Disney-themed livery: evidently one of the most beloved aircraft for children.

There is, however, another plane that the little ones (but not only) might appreciate in no small part: in the past few hours EVA Air presented a new livery dedicated to Hello Kitty. Over the years, Sanrio-the Japanese company that created the Hello Kitty character-and EVA Air have collaborated in the creation of Other special liveries on 3 A330-300s in the fleet.
The latest aircraft to feature Hello Kitty and other Sanrio characters in the fuselage is a Boeing 777-300ER, brands B16722: the 777 'Besties Jet' will fly in the route Taipei-Chicago 3 times a week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; the other Hello Kitty branded aircraft, however, fly daily from Taipei to Clark, Bali, and Cebu.
The livery of these 4 planes is not the only special thing: inside, passengers will have a fully immersive experience in the world of Hello Kitty, with Hello Kitty-branded glasses, napkins, meal containers, pillows and slippers; not to mention, then, the equally special boarding pass also featuring Sanrio characters.
EVA Air, as is well known, is part of Star Alliance: so if you want to splurge on flying aboard a decidedly special aircraft, well you can do it With points through the frequent flyers of SA companies..
