IHG One Rewards has announced a new global promotion. The good thing is that this promo can be combined with the other offer I wrote about in recent days.
In this article:
One Rewards is the loyalty program of IHG within it has 19 different signs such as InterContinental, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Crowne Plaza, and Hotel Indigo.
How to get triple IHG points

As always, the first thing to know is. you must register to get the bonus Of the "triple points." The offer is valid from October 1 to December 31.
This promotion is slightly different from the global promotion, 3,000 bonus points for every two nights, which began on September 19. Deferring is that not all hotels participate in this promotion, in fact to get triple points you have to stay in the hotels with signs:
- Voco
- avid hotels
- EVEN Hotels
- Atwell Suites
- Garner Hotels
We are not talking about signs that are very popular in Italy or Europe, where Voco is mainly present, while the other 4 are mainly in the US.
As always, I remind you. Existing reservations are participating and therefore do not need to be rebooked.
How much is the bonus worth?
The standard rate of gain in IHG One Rewards Is 10 points for every $1. Triple base points mean that you will receive 30 points for every $1 spent.
You will also receive a bonus based on the status you possess on your base points:
- 20% bonus for Silver Elite
- 40% bonus for Gold Elite
- 60% bonus for Platinum Elite
- 100% bonus for Diamond Elite
A Platinum Elite member would then receive 36 points for every dollar spent: 10 points x 3 plus 6 extra points as a Platinum Elite bonus. To which add, for every two nights stayed, an additional 3,000 points
Conclusion
For the series two birds with one stone, that's double dipping that I like and that is totally legal. Accumulating bonus points, on bonus points is really a solution where you don't even have to think about whether to activate the promo or not. I am not a serial IHG accumulator, but. certainly if I were a subscriber I would try to maximize the yield of this double promo.
