It is appropriate to say FINALLY and not to be underestimated what Iberia and Vueling, the low-cost wholly owned subsidiary of the IAG group, have just announced.
Now Vueling Avios can be combined with Iberia Avios.

I had recently explained how it worked The Avios issue among the various carriers in the IAG group and just Vueling's loyalty program was the weak link in the partnership, but now things are set to change since it is possible to merge profiles into one account and thus use avios indiscriminately on one or the other company, or move them to BA, QR or Finnair the only non-IAG company to have Avios as currency.
How the two profiles come together
The email that arrived to members of the Vueling loyalty program recounts the news and invites them to activate the procedure to merge the accounts, so doing so will result in a single account and points can be used indifferently between the two programs.
The procedure can be done either on the Vueling side by entering Iberia Plus account information
Or by starting from the Iberia Plus restricted area and in this case entering the Vueling Club details.
