ITA Airways says goodbye to Cagliari and debuts in Alghero: The national airline won bids to operate (exclusively) the two routes in territorial continuity to Milan-Linate and Rome-Fiumicino until October 25, 2025.

As of today, after authorization from the Autonomous Region of Sardinia and ENAC, ITA has put tickets on sale. As for theAlghero-Rome (FCO), will be 3 the daily frequencies: ITA will take off from Alghero at 07:00, 11:20 and 19:20; from Rome, however, departures are scheduled at 09:00, 10:30 and 21:35.
Regarding, however, the route Alghero-Milan (LIN), will be 2 the daily flights: ITA will fly from Alghero to Linate at 08:55 and 21:10; on the reverse route, from LIN to AHO, flights are scheduled at 07:00 and 18:35.
Flights under the territorial continuity scheme are already available for purchase from the Company's Customer Operations Information Office, travel agencies and airport ticket offices; from next Monday, October 21, 2024, it will also be possible to purchase them on ITA's website.
Who is entitled to territorial continuity
As stated on ITA's website, fares for flights operated under territorial continuity apply to passengers residents of Sardinia (it will be necessary to show a valid identity document proving actual residence in Sardinia), to the disabled (civil disability with a percentage at least equal to or greater than 80% attested by a report issued by the medical board showing the percentage of disability), to the University students up to the completion of the 27th year (Students must show a valid university transcript), To young people who are between 12 and 21 years old (who will have to prove through a document that they meet the age requirements); To the elderly over the age of 70 (again, an identity document proving actual residence in Sardinia will be required).
What is included in the territorial continuity tariff
Included in the territorial continuity tariff is a 8kg hand luggage (+ 1 accessory), a hold baggage (23kg), the change and the refund ticket (The choice of place is, however, to be paid for).
