Trenitalia increasingly intent on developing its own loyalty program, after the purchase of the Millemiglia program comes now an important Development to cooperation with ITA Airways launched last summer.

The status match Volare/CartaFRECCIA.
Starting today and for the next two weeks, that is, until Nov. 5, CartaFRECCIA Silver, Gold and Platinum/Infinite Platinum members will be given the opportunity to apply for the corresponding status in the Volare Program, Plus, Premium and Executive respectively. Likewise, Volare members belonging to the three aforementioned clubs will be able to apply for the statusmatch CartaFRECCIA.

The status recognized as a result of this initiative will be valid until December 31, 2025.
This is the second Status Match campaign launched by Trenitalia over the past four months, the first was targeted to Millemiglia members.
How to apply for status match

Members of the Plus, Premium and Executive Clubs in the program. ITA Airways flights can apply for Status Match with the equivalent statuses of the CartaFRECCIA Program:
- the "Club Plus" member will be awarded "CartaFRECCIA Argento" status
- the "Premium Club" member will be awarded "CartaFRECCIA Oro" status
- "Executive Club" member will be awarded "CartaFRECCIA Platino" status

Of course, the correspondence is the same for those applying to take the reverse route, that is, to take advantage of the CartaFRECCIA level to obtain the Volare card.

"This campaign complements the offer launched last July, an offer that allows Volare and CartaFRECCIA members to transfer points from one program to the other. Thus, the collaboration with Trenitalia continues, which is a strategic partner not only for loyalty but also for the shared project with Aeroporti di Roma for increasingly integrated train-to-airplane intermodality."
