When you think of the Christmas season, and especially of Santa Claus, cannot help but come to mind the Lapland. Starting this year, the quintessential Christmas country-with its snowy forests, huskies, reindeer and hotels made of ice-is closer to Italy: starting from Sunday, Oct. 27 connections between the Milan-Bergamo airport and that of Rovaniemi.

The following are provided 3 weekly frequencies, every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday: on Sunday, takeoff from Bergamo is scheduled at 4:00 p.m., while arrival in Rovaniemi is scheduled for 8:50 p.m.; on Tuesday, however, departure from BGY will be at 3:35 p.m. and arrival in Lapland at 8:25 p.m.; finally, on Thursday, departure from 'Orio al Serio' will be at 3:55 p.m. and arrival in 'Santa Claus Land' at 8:45 p.m.

Prices for flights (already booked) to and from the Lapland region start from €116,83 to travel roundtrip with the cheapest fare (which includes only one carry-on bag to be stored under the seat).
The aircraft used will, of course, be the Boeing 737: Ryanair has a total of 318 in its fleet, 111 of which are in the 'MAX 8' version and have an average age of 1.9 years.
