In June, when Malpensa's Alda Merini lounge was opened., SEA specified that--for the time being--no agreement with Priority Pass was in sight.
In this article:
Today, 5 months later, evidently the agreement was reached: the only lounge in T2 (easyJet's) is. now accessible to PP members, as can be seen from the Priority website.
The hall, well indicated by the signage in the Varese airport, has an area of 340sqm and can accommodate a maximum of 65 guests simultaneously; it is located on the ground floor near gates D20 - D22 and passport control, and is open daily from 05:00 to 22:00.
The hall - As Barbone recounted in a previous article. - is a little bit dark: penalized by its location, alas it does not give any kind of view of the outside. To remedy this, the architects installed backlit blow-ups in the walls.
The culinary offerings are the same as those found in the other lounges at Malpensa, as the catering is provided by the same company: the only difference with the T1 lounges is the lack of a warm proposal.
To access the Alda Merini lounge, you must be a Priority Pass member; alternatively, through SEA's website, you can purchase admission for a cost of €25,00. As usual, and again, let us remember that it makes no sense to pay to get into the lounge: the only lounge for which it makes sense to put your hand in your wallet, is the lounge at La Premiere.
