The date to be circled in red marker is that of the April 1, 2025 (and no, it is not an April Fool's joke): from that day, throughout the summer season, Transavia - the low-cost company of AirFrance/KLM - will connect Rotterdam e Trieste with 3 flights per week.
In this article:
It will fly on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays: in July and August, however, the Saturday connection will be moved to Sundays. Neither flight schedules nor fares are yet known, however, as they will be purchasable as of Oct. 16.
We also do not yet know the aircraft that will be used on this route: we can assume, however, that it will be one of Transavia's Boeing 737s. The company has a fleet of 48 aircraft: 42 Boeing 737 (38 in the -800 version and 4 in the -700 version) and 6 Airbus A321neo, which have an average age of 5 months.
To date Transavia operates out of 11 Italian airports: from Amsterdam it flies to Bari, Catania, Naples, Olbia, Pisa and Verona; Rotterdam, on the other hand, is connected to Brindisi, Bergamo, Palermo, Perugia and Rome airports.
