Summer 2025 will be particularly rich for United: after the announcement of the opening of the Palermo-New York (EWR), the company relaunches and doubles the connections from the U.S. to Venice.

Specifically, as of May 23, 2025, and throughout the summer, United will offer. daily connections between the lagoon city and the U.S. capital: it will take off from VCE at 10:05 a.m. and arrive in Washington (IAD) at 2:05 p.m. (local time); on the reverse leg, departure from IAD is scheduled at 5:25 p.m., while arrival at 'Marco Polo' is scheduled for 8:05 a.m. the next morning (local time).
The operational involves the use of the Boeing 767-300 set up in 3 classes of service-business (30 seats), premium economy (24), and economy class (149)-for a total of 203 seats. As we have written over and over again, B767s are definitely not the newest aircraft to be found in the world's skies: United has about 50 of them (both -300 and -400 versions) and they have an average age of 27 years; the fact, however, that there is 'United Polaris' - the company's business class - is an added value and can make one forget that one is aboard a 'lived-in' aircraft.
During summer '25, from Venice United will offer direct connections not only to Washington but also to New York: lhe seasonal route will officially restart on March 30 and will have daily frequency; in this chaos the aircraft used will be the more capacious 231-seat Boeing 767-400ER.
