Yesterday, Monday, Oct. 28, the Salerno-Budapest, anticipated by a very short ceremony: after the ribbon cutting, the plane took off for the Hungarian capital.

Finally, today will be the turn of the flight to Bucharest, which is scheduled to take off at 4:37 pm.

"The arrival of a prestigious airline such as Wizz Air is a further demonstration of the attractiveness on international markets of the Campania airport system and the complementarity of the two airports, which represent each other's resource, guaranteeing quality connectivity to the territory. The three destinations, in addition to being unprecedented for the Salerno airport, have the added value of starting during the 'winter' season, generally characterized by a downturn in supply, demonstrating the solidity of the Salerno-Costa d'Amalfi airport and the constant and progressive growth of connections, as the work envisaged by the Development Plan proceeds", commented the CEO of GESAC, Roberto Barbieri.

The Salerno-Tirana route will provide two weekly frequencies, every Wednesday and Sunday: takeoff from QSR is scheduled at 08:15, while arrival in Albania is scheduled for 09:25; on the reverse route, it leaves Tirana at 06:20 and arrives in the Amalfi Coast at 07:40.
