Approaching December, month in which Wizz Air will begin to offer a new destination, viz. Chisinau, from two Italian airports: from the December 16, direct flights will depart from Verona Toward the capital of Moldova; two days later, on the 18th, it will instead be the turn of Bologna.

There will be two weekly frequencies: while from/to Verona will fly on Mondays and Fridays, the Bologna-Chisinau route will instead be operated on Wednesdays and Sundays. Departure from Verona is scheduled at 9:15 p.m., while arrival in Chisinau is scheduled two hours and twenty minutes later, at 00:35 the following day (local time); on the reverse leg, takeoff from the Moldovan capital is scheduled at 7:15 p.m. and landing at "Catullo" will be at 8:40 p.m. (local time).
As for the Bologna-Chisinau route, on Wednesdays it will take off from BLQ at 21:00 and land in RMO at 00:20 the following day (local time); vice versa, the departure from Moldova is scheduled at 18:55, while the arrival at the "Marconi" is scheduled at 20:25 (local time); on Sunday, on the other hand, one will leave the Bologna airport at 21:50 and arrive in Chisinau at 01:10 (local time); from the Moldovan airport, finally, the departure is scheduled at 19:45 and the arrival in Emilia Romagna is scheduled for 21:15 (local time).
Flights from Verona and Bologna to Chisinau are already bookable on the airline's website or through travel agents and rates start at €24.99 (per single route).
All flights will be operated by the aircraft of the A320 family present in Wizz Air's fleet. The Hungarian airline currently has a total of 71 aircraft: 16 Airbus A320s, 54 A321s (22 of which are in the -neo version) and 1 A330 (cargo).
