May 1, 2025: as of that date, Wizz Air will begin connecting - throughout summer '25 - the airports of Genoa e Warsaw. After Tirana and Budapest, this brings to three the number of destinations offered by the Hungarian carrier at the Genoa airport.

The operation of the Genoa-Warsaw flight includes. 3 weekly frequencies, each Tuesday, Thursday e Saturday. Departure from "Cristoforo Colombo" is scheduled at 08:50 and arrival at "Chopin" is scheduled for 11:05; in the reverse route, departure from Warsaw will be at 06:00, while arrival in Genoa is scheduled at 08:15. The flights will be operated with Airbuses of the A320 family. present in the Hungarian carrier's fleet: Wizz has a total of 71 aircraft, 16 A320s and 55 A321s.
