On Monday, Nov. 25, from the Abu Dhabi headquarters, the CEO of the UAE flag carrier will unveil the carrier's growth plans. Antonoaldo Neves, Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Airways, was clear: "With this announcement we will significantly expand our network. Having already announced new routes to Prague, Warsaw, and Al Alamein for 2025, we are now taking the next step. With the simultaneous introduction of ten new destinations, we are determinedly continuing our growth strategy. This expansion reflects our commitment to constantly improving the flying experience for our guests, combining traditional Emirati hospitality with modern comfort. Our goal is to offer passengers attractive destinations with optimal schedules and frequencies."

Currently, Etihad serves 83 destinations worldwide. With the integration of the ten new destinations, the network will expand to 93 cities, creating new opportunities for both business and leisure travelers while strengthening Abu Dhabi's position as an international destination.
The campaign to create attention around the announcement began on the web with a video, just released on the YT channel, where clues to guess the 10 possible new destinations are scattered.
The arrival of A321s in the fleet should open up many possible new routes especially in the Asian and European markets, just as ITA uses the same plane to fly to Dubai, Etihad could activate routes to markets such as Venice or Bologna in Italy to compete with Qatar, Emirates, and Turkish.
