I have stayed in hundreds of hotels all over the world, even Other times I ended up in facilities connected to shopping centers, But this beats them all.
In this article:

And the reason is that we are talking about One of the largest shopping malls in the world with over 1,000 stores and mind-blowing architecture, stuff to get lost in.
Reservation

As usual, the reservation was made through the app and since throughout 2024 the Hilton for Business program gives away extra points and qualifying double nights. The beauty of accumulating double nights is that it shortens the path to the coveted lifetime membership, which frees you from the stress of status renewal.

The cost of the room was about 170€ per night, not cheap, but I found that hotels in Kuwait are on average more expensive than in Dubai or Abu Dhabi.
Check-in

I arrived at the hotel in the early afternoon, I had just checked out of the Hampton Inn. which is on the opposite side of Kuwait City. As always when I make these trips to review, if I stay several nights in the same city I jump from one hotel to another.

I immediately noticed the different size of this facility compared to the previous one. Security checks in the parking lot, bag scanners at the entrance, and metal detectors.
After working out a snag with my reservation, I got my card and went up to the room along with some coupons for various discounts.
Garden Inn Kuwait City: the room

No suite, but upgrade from basic room to high floor (the 10th) and view of the city, which then we are not talking about the Dubai skyline and the few skyscrapers are far away, but still better than nothing.

Modern room, like the whole facility. King bed of the highest quality, spacious and with the right things in the right place.
Inevitable is the giant screen as well as the empty refrigerator.
Bathroom with walk-in shower and zero plastic, as is now a standard all over the world (or almost), sooner or later I will have to start buying soapsuds again if they continue like this.
In the closet everything you need to iron your shirts and the (almost) always unfailing slippers.
The swimming pool
The hotel is really big. On the mezzanine is the fitness area with a small gym. Outside, however, is the pool, or rather the pools. Under a slightly shaded area is the main pool with a second pool.
On the opposite side there is a smaller pool, I did not understand whether it is for children or an adults only area.
Garden Inn Kuwait City, Common Spaces
The hotel is huge, but there are few common areas. Obviously being a Garden Inn there is no lounge and everything is concentrated on the ground floor. In front of the lobby is a work table with a couple of computers for guests to use. Then there are various types of seating suitable for waiting in the cooler for the taxy to arrive, or the Careem as they say around here.

There would also be a dehor, but it's +40° outside who feels like burning to death.

On the ground floor then there is also the hotel's main restaurant.
The Avenues Mall
This is the name of the huge shopping center connected to the hotel. Unlike the Dubai Mall, another immense place of perdition, this center is all on two floors, but with crazy decor. It goes from the Suk to the plaza with arcades, from the flower garden to the elegant area.

A huge Fidenza Village though under a glass and steel dome and cool thanks to air conditioning. Stuff to see at least once in a lifetime, as well as the Kuwait Towers.
Guests can take advantage of a dedicated entrance that connects the hotel with the mall, of course with security, scanners and metal detectors.
Breakfast
The great thing about having Gold status is that you can get free breakfast, and that translates into financial savings. again, the breakfast is not Garden Inn, but definitely higher category hotels.
There is everything, as only happens in the Middle East and Asia, there are islands for express cooking, there are flavors from all over the world, it is absolutely the most important meal of the day.
In conclusion

Certainly the location is perfect for those who want to visit Kuwait City but have a direct cool ride to shopping, restaurants, and promenade. Since it is one of the hottest places in the world, it is a great option, although slightly off the beaten path.
