Pearl Lounge Naples review: like a fish in the aquarium

I was finally able to leave for the first time in my life from Naples Capodichino Airport..

In fact on the occasion of my participation in the Picentia Short Film Festival I managed to make ambo: first time at Salerno Amalfi Coast And first time in Naples.

I have no idea how much longer ITA's Roma/Napoli will survive., but it was a flight to put on the bulletin board since it is one of those routes where, Sooner or later, AV will completely replace air travel even for people like me from Fiumicino airport who have a connecting flight.

Location

The lounge is located exactly in front of gate C17. Exit duty free and continue to Gate C, and just in front of Gate C17 is the entrance.

Access

This is the only lounge in the entire airport. so there's no mistaking, if you have access to a hall it's this one, and in here pretty much everyone gets in.

In addition to having agreements with (almost) all airlines that fly to Naples, it is also accessible to holders of Priority Passes and similar cards. We have already talked about this lounge on TFC, because it is the only one in Italy that does Paying for overstay, i.e., staying beyond the allowed 3 hours.

The lounge

The hall is a large open space, also If seen the way the Naples airport is growing. in recent years with destinations to the U.S. and beyond in peak season I think it is very easy to find it crowded, hence also the idea of forcing replacement by charging for "long stop."

Basically it offers sessions, of different kinds, but only that.

The special feature is the view of the air terminal, it feels like sitting in the downtown bar and watching the bustle of people on Sunday afternoons. Even at 5 a.m., my flight to FCO took off at 6:35 a.m., the airport was packed with people.

At one end is the buffet area, while at the other end is a VIP lounge that was dark and closed duar during my visit.

Food & Beverage

The offerings were basic, but comprehensive, as there were hot and cold offerings perfect for those wishing to have a savory breakfast, but also sweet for those aiming for a more classic cappuccino and brioche.

To be disappointed perhaps only those passengers who are used to breakfasts of hard liquor and bubbly; only bottles of wine were available.

In conclusion

The fish effect in the aquarium, depending on where you choose to sit (or where you find a seat) is assured. Otherwise, it is clear that if the traffic at this airport continues to grow, soon this lounge will be inadequate to handle all the potential guests.

My evaluations are always based on my visits, and not on hearsay, and so in this case my experience has been more than enough, of course flying at 6 a.m. also has advantages.

The verdict

You either eat this soup or sit on a bench. There is no alternative and this is what passes for it, I dread to imagine in the middle of the season how it might be stormed, but at 6 a.m. it was open and in fuction at 100% and that is worth a point in the service rating. Of course it has no view, no natural light, but it is definitely better than nothing.
