Ryanair celebrates 15 million passengers in Lamezia Terme and announces winter operations: 165 flights per week on 12 routes

Almost 25 years have passed since the distant 2000, a year when a company virtually unknown in Italy debuted in theLamezia Terme Airport. Today, almost a quarter of a century later, that same company - viz. Ryanair - celebrates a very important milestone: reaching the 15 million passengers in Lamezia airport. Lucky passenger No. 15 million, Katarina D'Amato, obtained a voucher by Ryanair that will allow her to fly from Lamezia to any destination.

During the winter 2024-2025, Ryanair will base an aircraft in Lamezia and will offer 165 flights each week (+27% compared with the previous winter) on 12 routes: Among this season's new features are two new destinations, Tirana e Brussels.
Two flights are planned for the Lamezia-Tirana route every week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays. On Tuesdays, it will take off from the Calabrian airport at 09:55 and land in Albania 1 hour and 5 minutes later, at 11:00; on the reverse leg, it will leave Tirana at 11:25 and arrive in Lamezia at 12:30. On Saturday, on the other hand, departure from Calabria is scheduled at 4:55 p.m. and arrival in Albania is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.; finally, on the reverse route, it will leave Tirana airport at 6:25 p.m. and land in Lamezia airport at 7:30 p.m.
