Ryanair announced new routes from the airports of Lamezia Terme e Croton: starting as of March 30, 2025, passengers will be able to fly from Lamezia to Bucharest (every Monday and Friday), Wroclaw (Friday and Sunday), Madrid (Tuesday and Saturday) and Trieste (Wednesday and Sunday).
"The opening of these new connections represents a fundamental opportunity for our territory. In addition to facilitating connections with the rest of Italy and Europe, these routes will make a significant contribution to the economic growth of Calabria, boosting tourism and enhancing local resources. In Crotone, which is preparing for an ambitious summer season, the bidding process for the sub-concession of the new bar has also been concluded [...] in addition, we are working with the Authorities to extend the airport's opening hours to allow for increased opportunities for connections," commented Marco Franchini, Sole Director of SACAL.
On Mondays it will take off from Lamezia to Bucharest at 07:00 and arrive at 09:55; on Fridays, departure from the Calabrian airport will be at 18:10 and arrival at the destination is scheduled for 21:05. As for connections to Wroclaw, on Fridays it will take off from Lamezia at 18:15 and arrive at 20:35; on Sundays, however, departure from SUF is scheduled at 09:05 and arrival is expected at 11:25.
Then, on Tuesdays, it will take off to Madrid at 7:10 p.m. and arrive at 9:55 p.m.; on Saturdays, departure from Lamezia is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. and arrival in the Spanish capital is scheduled for 9:20 p.m. Last but not least, on Wednesday it will take off from Lamezia at 7:25 p.m. and arrive in Trieste at 9:05 p.m.; on Sunday, however, takeoff from SUF is scheduled at 8:45 p.m. and landing in Trieste is scheduled for 10:25 p.m.
Finally, from Crotone airport, FR will offer new connections to Düsseldorf (twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays): departure from Crotone is scheduled at 18:15 and arrival in Dusseldorf-Weeze is at 20:55.
