For the series: the perfect accommodation for aircraft enthusiasts. If your dream is to stay inside the fuselage of an airplane-specifically a Airbus A320 - know that you can achieve it: all you have to do is fly into the Wales, in England, and stay in the "Apple Air" of the structure Apple Camping.
In this article:
We are located 150km west of Cardiff, a short distance from the Bristol Channel. Here stands an accommodation facility-whose name is, indeed, Apple Camping-that offers some housing units as distinctive as they are unique. In fact, not only is it possible to sleep inside an old converted A320, but it is also possible to stay inside the legendary Lockheed JetStar, or inside an Igloo, or even inside a UFO-shaped structure.
The Airbus in question is a old A320 that has been part of the fleet Etihad, a company whose colors it partly retains on the outside of the fuselage. On the inside, however, it has been almost completely converted into a comfortable home: we wrote "almost" because many things-such as the galley trolleys, for example-have been retained.
There are two single beds, a living area with an "L-shaped" sofa bed, a table and a television, and even a kitchen as small as it is equipped. Two, on the other hand, are the bathrooms: the first has remained virtually untouched, while a shower has been installed in the second.

Noteworthy, then, is the small "terrace": just walk to the tail end of the plane to discover a small outdoor shelter with sofas and a small table; ideal for enjoying the stars on summer evenings.
Okay, all very nice but ...what is the price? We come to the sore point. The figures are not low: we are in the range of 199 pounds per night (at the exchange rate about 240 euros); not exactly cheap accommodation. If you are a true enthusiast, however, the experience is probably worth the expense.
