In recent years, after the terrible experience of the pandemic, the demand for flights from Italy to the United States (and vice versa) has grown by leaps and bounds: for this, U.S. companies have upgraded existing routes or activated new connections. In this regard, it is news in recent hours that. American Airlines, starting from the month of May 2025, will fly to other two Italian destinations: Naples e Venice.

The May 6, specifically, AA will start the seasonal connection between Chicago to Naples: departure from ORD is scheduled at 8:15 p.m., while arrival at NAP is scheduled for 12:45 p.m. the following day (local time). Flight AA181, on the other hand, will take off from Capodichino at 2:45 p.m. and land in Chicago at 6:40 p.m. (local time).
The aircraft used in this route will be the Boeing 787-8 'Dreamliner' outfitted in 3 classes of service: business (20 seats of 'Concept D' or 'Super Diamond'), premium economy (28) and economy class (186).
As of June 5, however, will begin the seasonal connection between Dallas and Venice: flight AA130 is scheduled to depart DFW at 5:0 p.m. and arrive in VCE at 10:35 a.m. the following morning (local time); on the reverse leg, AA131 will leave the lagoon airport at 2:50 p.m. and arrive in Dallas at 6:40 p.m. (local time). Again, as with the flight to/from Chicago, passengers will fly on the Dreamliner (version -8) configured with 3 classes.
American, in addition, has made some changes to the already announced summer connections: the MIA-FCO will begin on June 5 and not in July as was planned; on the same day, connections between Rome and Philadelphia.
