In recent weeks we have been telling about the new (and beautiful) special livery, installed on one of the A380s from Emirates, dedicated to the football club AC Milan.
In this article:
Produced on the occasion of the celebration of the 125th anniversary of the team, the "Rossoneri" Super Jumbo finally made its debut in theMilan-Malpensa Airport, having carried the club's colors around Europe and the world.
Coincidentally, the homeless man landed just a few minutes before the A380 and captured the arrival from the plane's window, a shot that soon went viral on our social media...
Waiting for this very special A380 to land at MXP were both managers than the players of AC Milan - including Davide Calabria, Rafael Leao and Alvaro Morata - who had the opportunity to make a tour Inside EK's super jumbo.
The synergy with AC Milan can be felt not only on the outside, thanks to the special livery, but also inside the aircraft: First and Business Class passengers who, last December 8, flew on the New York-Milan flight found on each seat a EK's A380 model dedicated just for the team's 125th anniversary. Those, however, who have not had the pleasure of flying on the double Decker but would like to own one of these limited-edition models can purchase them from the Emirates store.
This is not, however, the first special livery created by Emirates and dedicated to AC Milan. The Dubai-based company first signed a sponsorship deal with the Rossoneri in September 2007; since 2011, then, "Emirates" has been featured on the team's jerseys during official matches.
In contrast, the first special livery dedicated to the club dates back to 2016, followed by another the following year: in both cases, some players were painted on the back of the fuselage.
