Here are Flying Blue monthly promos for December: with less than 19,000 miles you can fly to Mauritius

Punctual as always, the following came out again this month. Flying Blue monthly promos, the loyalty program of Air France-KLM. If you don't know yet, every first of the month - or, at the latest, on the first business day after - Flying Blue offers its members the opportunity to Redeem award tickets by spending far fewer points. The offers, as usual, are valid for the whole month, so you will need to Book no later than December 31 and fly by May 31, 2025. 

December's offerings

There are several long-haul destinations on offer this month: with 15,000 miles FB a route you will be able to fly (in economy) from Europe to Dubai, Montreal, Toronto, New York, Portland; 18,750 miles, on the other hand, will suffice to fly to Osaka, Zanzibar, Mauritius, Saint-Denis (Réunion), Beijing, or to São Paulo or Cape Town (in both cases one-way only); with 26,250 miles, then, one can go (in premium economy) to Toronto and New York; and with 37,500 miles, finally, one will have the opportunity to fly business class to Cairo, Edmonton, Ottawa, and also to Fortaleza and Beijing (one-way). We remind you, included in the cost of the ticket is the approach flight on Paris or Amsterdam depending on which carrier (AF or KLM) will operate the route.

If we deem the program Flying Blue the best frequent flyer for us Italians (and more) is because it has all the right features in the right place. How to search for Flying Blue award tickets

Searching for Flying Blue award tickets is super easy: just log on to the AF or KLM website and select the option that allows you to book with miles. A little trick is to NOT enter the date in the search field-this will open the monthly calendar.

Things to know about Flying Blue award tickets on offer

1. This month's promos are valid for travel until May 31, 2025, meaning that you can book a discounted award ticket as much as 6 months in advance, allowing for far-off schedules.
2. It is normally possible to opting for prize tickets, but not in the case of tickets on offer. If you want to reserve these tickets you must have the points ready to be used.
3. As we always say, it is crucial to have flexibility in your search, both in terms of dates and departure airports.
